Sacramento's Eat Local Potluck

Our first Eat Local Potluck was a great success, so were doing it again.

Let's gather to enjoy a meal and conversation about promoting sustainability and food security, and the challenges and opportunities of eating locally. Prepare a dish to share, relying as fully as you can on ingredients from our local “foodshed,” or the area within a 100 mile-radius of Sacramento. Bring a copy of the recipe and ingredients list with the sources identified; feel free to use our format:

Bill Maynard, the Community Garden Program Coordinator for Sacramento's Community Gardens, will talk about the community garden program.
